Special Diets

Many of our customers have requested that we make lower sodium versions of our food because they are restricting their sodium intake for health reasons. In response to those requests we have introduced lighter in sodium versions (50% less sodium than the original) of some of our soups. Each of our light in sodium versions has 340 mg (of sodium) or less per individual serving.

Dear Amy,
Amy's KitchenThank you for making more Light in Sodium frozen dinners. I love the Lasagna, Veggie Loaf and now the Mac and Cheese. I have to watch my sodium content because of dietary concerns, but sometimes just want to pop in a frozen dinner.  Your dishes are the greatest!

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
Thank you for introducing your Light in Sodium soups and frozen meals. As someone with a family history of diabetes, I watch my sodium intake carefully. Your new low-sodium foods will definitely help me with that and I will definitely buy as many as you can pump out! (Well, not THAT many, but certainly a good amount.)

Thanks so much to whoever is responsible for those delicious soups.
I am having a total knee replacement in a couple of days and my doctor told me that my blood pressure had to come down and that I had to eat more foods with iron and less sodium in them.

Low and behold, I received my "Nutrition Action" newsletter and in big bold print it tells all about Amy's soups and how they are low in sodium and all the things I need and they have flavor. It was like someone was answering my prayers.

I just had to find a place that sold those (“Stop & Shop in my area) and best of all they were on sale. I shared a can with husband for lunch and I can't believe the unbelievable great taste. I tried the lentil soup and have a couple other kinds, but you have me sold on them.  My blood pressure has come down and my iron count has come up.

Once again, thanks for making it possible to eat a low sodium food that tastes great!  I will also be checking into the other foods that you offer.
