Special Diets

All products from Amy's Kitchen are vegetarian, containing no meat, fish, poultry or eggs, and cheeses are made from pasteurized rBST hormone free milk and do not contain animal enzymes or rennet.

In addition, we offer a wide selection of delicious dishes to satisfy several dietary needs and food preferences. Below are descriptions of these categories.

Dairy Free

Dairy Free: Contains no dairy, but may contain honey.

Low Fat

Low Fat: Product contains no more than 3 grams of fat per serving.

Gluten Free

Gluten Free : Products that are formulated without any gluten containing ingredients but are made in a processing area that may contain gluten.

Cholesterol Free

Cholesterol Free: These products have less than 2 milligrams of cholesterol and no more than 13 grams of fat per serving. Soy cheese is used as substitute for dairy cheese.

Lactose Free

Lactose Free: For people who cannot tolerate lactose (a milk sugar). These products may, however, contain caseinate (a milk protein). Lactose Free is not the same as Dairy Free.

Vegan

Vegan: These products contain no dairy or honey.

Soy Free

Soy Free: These products do not contain soy or soy derivatives.

Kosher

All Amy's products, except Low Sodium Marinara, Mediterranean Pizza with Cornmeal Crust and Light in Sodium Vegetable Lasagna, are certified Kosher. Amy's became certified in November of 2003.

Corn Free

Corn Free: These products do not contain corn or corn derivatives.

Light in Sodium

Light in Sodium: Amy's favorites made with 50% less sodium than Amy's regular products. Read more about how Amy's products fit into a Light in Sodium diet in our Special Diets section.
